This onsite course is a complete coverage of tuning for the Tandem Pathway
environment. You will learn how to measure performance, detect bottlenecks, and
adjust parameters to improve the performance of any Pathway system.
Course Duration: 3 days (on-site)
Those who will be responsible for tuning and maintaining performance of Pathway
applications in the Tandem environment.
-
A comprehensive guide to tuning a Pathway-based Himalaya system - includes
Measure and general performance information.
-
Detailed examination of Pathway statistics to identify bottlenecks in
Pathway/iTS (TCP) and TS/MP (non-TCP) environments.
-
Step-by-step instructions for tuning a Pathway-based system, including specific
recommendations for Pathway configuration attributes.
-
Course includes 14 TACL routines to simplify the analysis of Pathway
configurations, format Pathway statistics, and identify general system
performance problems.
-
Detailed labs to familiarize the student with Measure, Pathway statistics, and
Pathway configuration.
-
Includes modules on Pathway startup/shutdown performance, programming
considerations, and Pathway/XM.
